What Is Resin Surfacing?
We mix natural aggregates—typically stone ranging from 2-6mm—with clear polyurethane resin, then trowel the mixture onto a prepared base. Depth depends on use. Patios typically require 100mm of porous concrete with an appropriate sub-base, all installed with correct falls for drainage, even though the surface is permeable.

I had the lower part of my potholed driveway resurfaced to a SMA tarmac finish. It was originally covered in gravel, like the top part, but the slope at the lower end is so pronounced that gravel kept rolling down onto the road and vehicles (particularly heavy trucks) had difficulty getting up the steep slope without spinning their wheels and digging more holes. Joseph advised on the best solution, and he and his team carried out the work incredibly quickly and efficiently this morning before the rain came. I was happy with both the price and the work.
